The role

The Senior Director, Loan Origination is responsible for driving lending activity in New Jersey and managing a loan pipeline to meet enterprise-wide goals. This role involves relationship management, program oversight, strategy development, and market expansion.

What you'll do

  • Generate new business and manage loan pipeline to meet enterprise-wide lending goals
  • Develop and nurture new and existing client relationships ensuring a seamless financing process
  • Oversee NFF’s BEACoN NJ program, a $20MM 10-year statewide revolving loan fund to support community ownership of assets for nonprofits
  • Help lead the planning process for geographic and sector expansion of NFF’s lending services

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Eight (8) years of progressive professional experience in financial services industry as a loan officer or similar lending roles
  • Advanced expertise in credit analysis, loan structuring, and business development
  • Demonstrated success leading programs or projects to deliver on organizational growth and impact goals
