The role
Cure Blindness Project is seeking a Senior Director, Individual Giving to lead the individual giving program and expand the organization's impact through major gifts, mid-level giving, planned giving, and annual giving.
What you'll do
- Develop and lead a comprehensive individual giving strategy
- Manage a personal portfolio of major gift donors and prospects
- Develop and launch a planned giving program
- Partner with the Chief Development Officer to engage senior leadership and board members
- Create and execute individualized stewardship plans
- Collaborate with the marketing team on individual donor communications
What it takes
- Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in nonprofit fundraising
- Proven track record of identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and closing five- and six-figure gifts
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Experience managing and growing a portfolio of 75+ major gift donors and prospects
- Experience developing or significantly contributing to a planned giving program
- Results-oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly organized
