The role
The Senior Child Protection & MHPSS Officer will be responsible for implementing child protection and mental health programs in Aswan, Egypt.
What you'll do
- Develop monthly work plans in line with the overall project plan.
- Monitor CP activities and ensure safe and quality implementation.
- Provide guidance to field teams on CP and MHPSS interventions.
- Lead the implementation of MHPSS interventions focused on safeguarding within Community Learning Schools.
- Assess training needs and develop relevant capacity-building programs.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in development related fields or psychology is preferable.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in development/humanitarian aid; previous experience in CP and MHPSS support field.
- At least 3-5 years of field experience, with proved experience in training, coaching, and capacity building in CP.
