The role
Inkomoko is seeking a Senior Associate, Survey Programming to design and program digital survey tools for their business analytics and evaluation teams across multiple African countries.
What you'll do
- Translate paper-based/draft instruments into fully-programmed, logic-driven digital forms using SurveyCTO
- Conduct rigorous testing of every form before deployment to ensure data quality
- Work with MERL and Programs teams to clarify indicator definitions and ensure they are correctly operationalized in survey tools
- Manage SurveyCTO server console(s) for form deployment/versioning, user/role management, dataset publishing, and real-time monitoring
- Train Programs/MERL staff on tool usage and troubleshooting
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, Data Science, M&E, or Social Sciences
- 4+ years of experience in survey programming/digital data collection
- Experience coding surveys in SurveyCTO
- Strong command of form logic and XLSForm structure
- Proficiency in Excel/data-cleaning tools
- Basic to advanced skills in data analysis using tools such as Excel, Stata, Python, R
