The role
Save the Children is seeking a Senior Advisor, External Reporting & Analytics to manage financial processes, including tax preparation and external audits. What you'll do

- Perform monthly variance analysis and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS standards.
- Lead NICRA submittal packets, including analytics and rate adjustments for USAID.
- Draft finance policies, procedures, and define accounting treatments for complex transactions.
- Supervise, coach, and develop finance staff to support divisional priorities.
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and non-profit management.
- Experience using financial management systems and MS Office suite.
- Proven track record in audit/tax facilitation and transformation initiatives.
- Experience working in an international non-profit environment.
