- Assists in the development of specific security risk assessments for individual UN programmes and activities in Gaza
- Conducts trend analysis, gathers comprehensive information on all factors of insecurity, assesses the relevance and validity of security information
What it takes
- An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in security management, information management, communication science and technology or political/social science with focus on security information management
- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in security information analysis or security management
- Experience contributing to design and planning of risk mitigation strategies, including area security plans, Standard Operating Practices, or security risk management (SRM) for humanitarian operations
- Experience with the humanitarian response in Gaza is required
- Experience maintaining and coordinating a database and digital archives and production of data-driven security incident reporting is desirable
