Easterseals MORC is hiring a School Based Therapist to support students and families within the Anchor Bay School District, providing mental health services and interventions.
What you'll do
- Provide individual and/or group consulting to school district staff
- Provide on-demand crisis intervention
- Provide individual, group, conjoint or family psychotherapy and support services
- Ensure paperwork is maintained in accordance with grant/funder requirements
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop diagnoses
- Attend school meetings and provide consultation
What it takes
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling
- LMSW or LPC from the State of Michigan
- Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) and/or Mental Health Professional (MHP) qualifications
- Willingness to support individuals with trauma-related issues
- Experience with TFCBT, CBITS, Prime for Life, and/or trauma-informed practices
- Ability to use data to make caseload decisions and determine training needs
