School-Based Mental Health Counselor
The role
The School-Based Mental Health Counselor identifies and assists students and families by overcoming barriers to learning through assessment, counseling, and coordination of resources. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students. The counselor provides crisis intervention, maintains accurate records, and acts as a liaison between the school and community agencies.
