SC Cleared Principal Test Development Engineer

The role

Experis is seeking a SC Cleared Principal Test Development Engineer to lead technical direction and mentor others in the design and evolution of automated test capabilities for weapons test and operator training worldwide.

What you'll do

• Maintain and enhance existing NI-based Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems
• Lead the design, development and verification of automated test solutions using TestStand, LabVIEW and FlexStand
• Design test fixtures and commission new test capability for products and subsystems
• Work with engineering teams to embed Design for Test (DFT) principles into new product development
• Provide technical leadership within your specialist test engineering discipline
• Mentor and support engineers, helping raise capability across the test function

What it takes

• Strong hands-on experience with TestStand and automated functional test systems
• Experience developing solutions using LabVIEW
• Proven background in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) design, support or test development
• Electronics engineering knowledge, including the ability to understand schematics
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators and data acquisition equipment
