SAT Prep Teacher

The role

Success Academy is hiring SAT Prep Teachers to help students prepare for the SAT. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, managing a classroom, and providing personalized feedback to students.

What you'll do

• Deliver engaging, targeted SAT prep lessons in Reading & Writing and/or Math
• Teach test-taking strategies, time management, process of elimination, and question-type recognition
• Administer and analyze regular practice tests to identify student strengths, weaknesses, and score trends
• Manage a classroom of 20+ scholars in a focused, high-energy environment
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians about score progress, pacing, and strategies for at-home practice
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, school leaders, and college counseling staff to align SAT prep with broader college readiness goals

What it takes

• A bachelor's degree before your first day of work
• Strong command of SAT Math and/or Reading & Writing content and strategy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for learning and an unwavering commitment to student development
• Ability to work in person in New York City
