The role

The SSDP Program Manager will provide tools, technical support, and leadership to the CRS project team and its partners to implement CRS’s Safeguarding Policy and standards and ensure the application and safe and dignified programming framework across all project activities.

What you'll do

  • Train frontline project and partner staff on safeguarding and protection-related allegations and concerns.
  • Apply CRS Partner Safeguarding Policy and Procedure to partners ensuring safeguarding assessments against minimum standards are completed.
  • Provide technical assistance, accompaniment, and mentoring to CRS and partner staff on safe and dignified programming.
  • Develop and monitor risk matrices for safeguarding and protection.

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Human Rights, Gender, International Development, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities, preferably with an international NGO.
  • Experience advising or guiding staff through effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
