The role

The Roving Finance & HR Manager will support the bases during the project activities in Tigray and Amhara, ensuring efficient management of administration, finance, and HR functions.

What you'll do

  • Ensure the efficient management of administration, finance, and HR functions at the bases
  • Support the continued operationalization and consolidation of the bases, including administrative and HR systems
  • Ensure proper HR administration, recruitment follow-up, payroll processes, archiving, and staff support
  • Build and maintain the capacities of support staff while promoting compliance, accountability, and teamwork
  • Strengthen monitoring and mitigation measures related to fuel shortages, cash availability, and supply chain constraints
  • Review and update key support tools, trackers, filing systems, and reporting mechanisms to ensure full compliance with SI procedures

What it takes

  • A master’s degree (or equivalent field experience) in Business administration, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector
  • 3-4 years of experience on a similar position
  • Strong knowledge of Finance and HR (SI procedures)
  • Knowledge of SAGA & Homere and Share Cost Methodology
  • Administrative management in humanitarian contexts
