The role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) Coordinator to provide technical oversight and support for community-based RCCE activities in the Ebola response in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

- Background in social and behavior change, health promotion, community engagement, or a related field
- Experience leading community-based communication activities and working with community volunteers/RECOs during public health emergencies
- Fluency in French and English, with Swahili as an added advantage
- Strong leadership, management, planning, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse teams and communities, including women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other groups at risk of exclusion
- Knowledge and/or experience in conflict management, protection, or other related field
