The role
Provide professional legal advisory services to Humanity & Inclusion (HI) Thailand on an as-needed basis, including reviewing policies, contracts, and providing legal advice on labor, employment, and tax matters.
What you'll do
- Review policies, contracts, and MOUs for compliance with applicable national law
- Provide legal advice on labor, employment, and tax matters
- Ensure HI Thailand fulfills all required legal, statutory, and regulatory compliances
- Provide regular updates on changes in laws, rules, and regulations
- Engage in preparing and translating legal documents as required
- Act as HI Thailand legal representative in court litigation and other matters
What it takes
- At least 5 years’ experience and extensive knowledge on the legal regime governing INGOs in Thailand
- Extensive experience and knowledge of labor law
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in providing support to a similar type of organization
- Fluency (spoken and written) in English and Thai
