Residential Relief Counselor

The role

Eliot is seeking a Residential Relief Counselor to join its Developmental Disabilities division. The role involves providing person-centered support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, focusing on promoting autonomy, safety, and community integration. Candidates must be able to work across multiple locations in Massachusetts.

What you'll do

• Support individuals in daily living by promoting choice, dignity, and personal autonomy
• Ensure safety and well-being by responding to mental health, behavioral, and medical needs
• Facilitate community integration and access to social supports
• Implement Individual Support Plans, assist with medication administration, and transportation
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required trainings

What it takes

• High school diploma
• Experience working with intellectually disabled or brain injured adults
• Ability to drive a residence van
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and personally owned vehicle
• Flexibility to work in Lexington, Wobbern, Bedford, and Arlington locations
