The role
Parallel Squared Technology Institute (PTI) is seeking candidates with a Master’s or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Neurobiology, or related fields to join a diverse team working on developing mass tags for protein analysis.
What you'll do
- Develop highly-sensitive workflows for data acquisition by LC-MS/MS pipelines
- Collaborate with biologists, chemists, research associates, computational scientists, and mass spectrometrists
- Prepare and analyze brain samples
- Conduct large-scale analyses using Python and/or R
- Publish research findings and present results at scientific meetings
What it takes
- Master’s or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Neurobiology, or related field
- Experience with LC-MS/MS, particularly for proteomics
- Experience in large-scale analyses using Python and/or R
- Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Preparation and analysis of brain samples
