Research Engineer

The role

The Center for AI Safety is seeking a Research Engineer to work at the intersection of cutting-edge machine learning research and reliable engineering. The role involves designing and running experiments on large language models, building infrastructure for scale, and contributing to publishable research on AI safety topics like robustness and transparency. You will collaborate with internal researchers and external partners to mitigate societal-scale risks from advanced AI systems.
