The role
The Research Associate will support the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change in implementing a GEF-7 project aimed at achieving land degradation neutrality in India through ecosystem-based approaches.
What you'll do
- Assist with technical tasks such as data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Conduct research and prepare outputs such as technical documents/reports, presentations, and publications
- Support in the implementation and tracking of project activities
- Ensure regular communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Prepare National/State-specific Annual Work Plans and monthly targets
- Coordinate and participate in project meetings

- Experience in climate change adaptation and mitigation, agriculture, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, ecosystem & land restoration
