The role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Research Assistant to join the Osier Laboratory in the Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to an exciting multidisciplinary research programme investigating how scientific innovation, financing mechanisms, policy and international partnerships can strengthen vaccine research, development and manufacturing across Africa.
  • Undertake evidence synthesis, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement and qualitative and quantitative data analysis to generate evidence that informs sustainable vaccine innovation ecosystems.
  • Contribute to scientific publications, reports and grant applications.
  • Support project coordination and the dissemination of research findings through conferences, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
  • Contribute to the wider activities of the Osier Laboratory and work closely with a diverse network of collaborators across multiple disciplines.

What it takes

  • A master’s degree (or equivalent) in Global Health, Public Health, Health Economics, Biomedical Sciences, Drug Development or a related discipline.
  • Experience conducting literature reviews and synthesising scientific evidence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports or scientific publications.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience analysing qualitative and/or quantitative research data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
