The role
IMPACT Initiatives is seeking a Country Representative to oversee its programs in the Central African Republic, focusing on strategy development, fundraising, program planning, team leadership, and external engagement.
What you'll do
- Develop and oversee the implementation of a country strategy aligned with IMPACT's global strategy
- Ensure the relevance and effectiveness of IMPACT's activities in the humanitarian response
- Secure necessary funding for program implementation
- Supervise project proposal design and budget elaboration
- Negotiate project proposals and contracts with donors
- Ensure program contributions to more effective aid planning
- Maintain coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Promote IMPACT's visibility and research results in key humanitarian coordination forums
What it takes
- Excellent academic qualifications, including a Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience in senior management roles in NGOs in the field
- Strong communication and reporting skills, including experience in high-level briefings
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience or proven advancement within IMPACT
- Research and analytical skills, with experience in evaluations and field research
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
