The role

The incumbent will conduct desk studies, home visits, and maintain accurate information on families applying for social transfer assistance in the FO Syria area.

What you'll do

  • Conduct desk studies and home visits for refugees applying for social transfer assistance.
  • Maintain accurate information on families receiving social assistance.
  • Identify and refer cases requiring additional social work intervention.
  • Follow up on the delivery of approved cash and in-kind assistance to eligible families.
  • Participate in surveys and studies analyzing socio-economic trends.

What it takes

  • University degree in social work, sociology, psychology, guidance and counseling or related fields.
  • At least three years' relevant experience in providing social work services.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic (UN Level II).
