The role

The Rehabilitation Technical Officer will oversee the implementation of stimulation therapy activities for under five malnourished children, providing technical expertise and ensuring adherence to HI’s established protocols.

What you'll do

  • Provide appropriate technical guidance and support to project leaders and/or specialists.
  • Ensure project(s) Stimulation therapy of malnourished children activities are implemented in accordance with quality and established protocols and propose adjustments or improvements as necessary.
  • Develop stimulation therapy tools and ensure their availability.
  • Contribute to the regular reporting of stimulation therapy of malnourished children activities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the nutrition actors as delegated by the Project Manager.

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric or physical rehabilitation care
  • Good knowledge of stimulation therapy approach developed by HI
  • Good knowledge of stimulation therapy protocols and national and international nutrition rehabilitation guidelines
  • Experience in a humanitarian organization
  • Experience in training trainers’ certification in childhood development stimulation including stimulation therapy
