The role
Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Registered Nurse to ensure nursing procedures and medication administration meet regulatory and company standards, including conducting training and audits.
What you'll do
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements
- Provide program oversight, training, and audits for nursing care and medication administration
- Develop internal procedures and practices to support compliance with state regulations
- Conduct initial and refresher Medication Certification training
- Conduct annual trainings for nursing procedures as needed
What it takes
- Current, valid RN license
- Current, valid state certification to train mandated medication administration course
- Experience with diabetes care
- Experience with children and young adults up to 21 with developmental disabilities/dual diagnosis
- Thorough knowledge of Nursing care and Med Administration regulations
- 5 years’ experience working with Medication Administration procedures and regulations
