What you'll do
- Lead and oversee a long stay children's home for children and young people with learning and physical disabilities
- Recruit, induct, and develop a skilled, motivated, and cohesive staff team
- Provide high quality, supportive 1 to 1 supervision and reflective guidance to direct reports
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, community organisations, partner agencies, and other external stakeholders
What it takes
- At least two years’ experience in the last five years working in a role relevant to residential childcare
- At least one year of experience in an early leadership role
- Knowledge and understanding of Ofsted requirements in the Children's Home (England) regulations 2015
