The role
The Regional Senior Research Officer for East and Southeast Africa will support the implementation of research standards, provide technical guidance, and strengthen research methods and tools for IMPACT Initiatives in Uganda.
What you'll do
- Support implementation of research standards for IMPACT’s country operations in East and Southeast Africa
- Provide technical guidance and support for research planning and methodology design
- Contribute to the regular review and consolidation of research-related lessons learned and best practices
- Support research implementation in other regions/countries as directed by Unit Manager
- Oversee research quality to ensure all research meets required minimum standards

- At least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Fluency in English
- Technical competencies in quantitative methodology design, quantitative data processing and management, responsible data management, statistics, and programming
- Ability to ensure research meets required minimum standards
