The role
Responsible for the health and sustainability of all offices in the North Texas region, leading Site Managers/Site Directors, and managing regional fundraising efforts and advocacy.
What you'll do
- Communicate the mission, vision, values, and strategic directions of World Relief to regional offices and staff
- Provide leadership to direct reports by developing strategic plans for growth, sustainability, and stabilization
- Lead regional fundraising efforts and cultivate regional and state relationships with important community partners
- Collaborate with the development and advocacy teams to meet financial targets and expand opportunities to serve refugees and immigrants
- Engage regional and state stakeholders to expand quality resettlement and immigrant programming
- Develop, grow, and lead a cohesive network of services to serve the constituency in the designated region
What it takes
- Mature and personal Christian faith
- 5+ years management experience
- Graduate degree in related field or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Authorization to legally work in the US
- Valid drivers license, access to reliable vehicle, and ability to pass MVR standards
- 5+ years of experience managing multiple staff/departments and budgets over $1 million
- Experience managing multi-site operations
- Knowledge of US refugee and immigration policy and programming
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience in team building and staff development
- Experience managing state and federal grants, grant writing, and fundraising
- Cross-cultural experience with refugee populations
