The role

The Resident Coordinator System in Gabon is seeking a National Consultant to conduct an independent final evaluation of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2023–2027. The role involves assessing the relevance, performance, and impact of UN interventions in the context of the country's new political and institutional transition. The consultant will work under a team lead to perform data collection, stakeholder analysis, and report drafting in accordance with UNEG and UNSDCF evaluation guidelines.

What you'll do

  • Design evaluation methodology and data collection tools.
  • Conduct primary data collection through interviews and focus groups.
  • Analyze project performance against SDG and national development goals.
  • Draft inception and final evaluation reports based on UNEG guidelines.

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Public Policy.
  • 5 years of experience in evaluating social, economic, or environmental development projects.
  • Deep knowledge of SDGs, Agenda 2030, and the Gabon national context.
  • Proven experience in evaluating UN programs.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in French.
