The role
The incumbent will manage the day-to-day operation of recruitment services and activities, including screening applications, preparing for interviews, and producing statistical reports.
What you'll do
- Manages the day-to-day operation of recruitment services and activities
- Prepares for interviews and ensures that recruitments are carried out according to plan
- Initiates contact with job applicants and provides guidance on the recruitment process
- Advises the Human Resources Career Management Officer (HRCMO) and Field Human Resources Officer (FHRO) on recruitment issues
- Produces periodic statistical reports on recruitment activities
- Contacts counterparts in missions, non-governmental organizations, and national recruitment services
What it takes
- A university degree from an accredited educational institution in human resources management, public or business administration, or any other related field
- At least five years of progressively responsible relevant experience in human resources management, including two years in recruitment and succession planning at a supervisory level
- Fluency in English and Arabic (UN Language Framework levels required)
- Experience with assessment tools for recruitment
