The role
Eliot is seeking an empathetic Recovery Coach dedicated to providing quality treatment and support to clients. The ideal candidate will provide in-home support and services to clients, primarily focusing on addiction-related services.
What you'll do
- Provide interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragement for individuals
- Utilize lived experience to support and educate the client’s recovery
- Provide client perspectives to multidisciplinary team
- Assist the team and individuals with ongoing assessment and evaluation of symptoms and effectiveness of staff interventions
- Contribute to the development of treatment plans for each client, including triage/urgent care and CBHC team services
- Support stabilization and evaluations in the community

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Lived experience and sustained recovery
- Experience working with adults with mental illness/substance abuse
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
- Certified Recovery Coach or willingness to obtain certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
