The role
The incumbent will monitor and evaluate the performance of institutes, including quality of teaching and learning, institute environment, management of resources, and ways of promoting inclusive teaching practices.
What you'll do
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of institutes, including quality of teaching and learning, institute environment, management of resources, and ways of promoting inclusive teaching practices.
- Collect, record, and analyze different types of data on aspects of institutes' performance and provide comprehensive regular quality assurance reports.
- Develop an action plan for institute development addressing areas of weakness and identifying the needed support.
- Support the supervisor with the dissemination of good practices across the Field and communicate with relevant stakeholders about the work of the unit.
- Create well-prepared quality assurance reviews with supporting evidence and support the production of regular reports and updates on institute quality assurance.
- Contribute to the professional development activities and work collegially with peers to improve practice.
What it takes
- A University degree from an accredited educational institution in economics, specialization of quality assurance or related field.
- At least two years of professional experience relevant to education systems and institute quality assurance or monitoring/evaluation capacity.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others in a team environment.
- Ability to evaluate the work of others.
- Experience in the development of the comprehensive Institute Quality Review Framework for the field.
