The role
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker position offering opportunities in creative therapeutic specialties such as Music, Art, Dance and Recreation. Salary range is $35,000-$40,000 dependent on experience.
What you'll do
- Provide Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services facility based and/or in the community as assigned.
- Facilitate groups, individual supports to members and documentation.
- Support PRS staff with service provision; participate in the development of individualized rehabilitation plans.
- Provide goal directed community integrative activities to support the development of participant leisure and social skills.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and open environment.
What it takes
- Associates degree and One (1) year of work experience in the mental health direct service, CPS certification one (1) year of volunteering or paid, or high School diploma/GED and two years’ work experience in Human Services, which one year must be in mental health direct services.
- OR
- CPRP certification.
- Competent oral and written communication skills, as well as be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills are required, as well as internet research abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
