Applewood Centers is seeking a Part Time Evening Psychiatric Nurse to provide behavioral health education and management strategies in a residential setting.
What you'll do
- Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists and case managers
- Providing behavioral health education and behavioral management strategies
- Assessing clients for additional treatment needs
- Linking clients with needed services
- Communicating and documenting observations and interventions
- Providing leadership in department activities
What it takes
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Active Ohio Nursing license, RN required
- BLS certification preferred
- One or more years of demonstrated nursing experience in behavioral health or psychiatry preferred
- Cultural competency and interpersonal communication skills
- Technical proficiency in utilizing Agency computer systems and software
