The role
Responsible for maintaining the physical condition, appearance, and operational efficiency of properties, ensuring a safe and attractive living environment for residents.
What you'll do
- Perform routine, preventive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance repairs
- Maintain appropriate logs and records
- Contribute to marketing efforts by providing excellent customer service
- Participate in apartment turnovers as directed
- Ensure all areas are kept safe, tidy, and free of trash
- Provide guidance, direction, and training to Maintenance Apprentices & Porters
What it takes
- Minimum one (1) year as a maintenance technician or other applicable experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification- Type II or Universal Certification
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy
