What you'll do
- Provides leadership, direction, and oversight for property maintenance.
- Ensures timely completion of resident service requests.
- Contributes to marketing efforts and resident satisfaction through excellent customer service.
- Manages the maintenance department including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Oversees apartment turnovers and general upkeep tasks.
- Maintains landscaping and performs snow removal as needed.
What it takes
- Minimum three years as a maintenance technician or other applicable experience; prior supervisory experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Extensive knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, equipment repair, and painting.
- EPA Section 608 Technician Certification- Type II or Universal Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
- Ability to lead, direct, and motivate others to innovate and excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
