The role
The Project & Portfolio Monitoring Office Consultant will support portfolio governance, project monitoring, report and analysis preparation, and continuous improvement of project management tools and processes.
What you'll do
- Support portfolio governance by proactively monitoring infrastructure and real estate projects against established requirements.
- Ensure data quality in the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) system through validation activities, follow-up on data issues with project managers, and support report and analysis generation.
- Promote PMO standards and best practices by maintaining project documentation, supporting training activities, and providing daily guidance on project management methodologies and internal processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the SPM system by documenting business requirements and evaluating and implementing relevant features that strengthen portfolio management.
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Data & Analytics or a related field. Additional education or certifications in project management, agile methodologies, data analytics, or business process improvement are highly valued.
- At least two years of relevant experience in project management, portfolio project management and PMO governance, data analysis and business intelligence (data & analytics), and/or business process improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data visualization and analysis tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, both oral and written.
