The role

Supports Wounded Warrior Project’s Mental Health and Wellness programs by serving wounded service members dealing with invisible injuries through Project Odyssey.

What you'll do

  • Screen, interview, and assess warriors and family support members
  • Develop and manage Project Odyssey workshops
  • Provide continued care and case management
  • Maintain data in WWP intranet systems
  • Conduct routine outreach
  • Lead workshops and virtual sessions

What it takes

  • Four years of experience facilitating veteran-focused mental health programming
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, mental health counseling, human services, social work, or related field
  • ASIST Certification within 1 year of hire
  • First Aid CPR/AED Certification within 1 year of hire
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with brain injuries or mental health case management
