The role
Supports Wounded Warrior Project’s Mental Health and Wellness programs by serving wounded service members dealing with invisible injuries through Project Odyssey.
What you'll do
- Screen, interview, and assess warriors and family support members
- Develop and manage Project Odyssey workshops
- Provide continued care and case management
- Maintain data in WWP intranet systems
- Conduct routine outreach
- Lead workshops and virtual sessions
What it takes
- Four years of experience facilitating veteran-focused mental health programming
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, mental health counseling, human services, social work, or related field
- ASIST Certification within 1 year of hire
- First Aid CPR/AED Certification within 1 year of hire
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
- Experience with brain injuries or mental health case management
