The role
The Project Management Office (PMO) Officer will support the operational, analytical, and administrative operations to ensure effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects in line with UNOPS policies and client requirements.
What you'll do
- Gather, clean, structure, and validate project data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Support project planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring compliance with UNOPS procedures and client requirements.
- Prepare project documentation, including Terms of Reference, agreements, budgets, and procurement requests.
- Monitor project financial utilization, review financial reports, and maintain accurate documentation for audits and reports.
- Contribute to the development of monitoring systems and tools to track progress against work plans and performance indicators.
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience supporting project management in infrastructure projects, with emphasis on financial information control, report preparation, procurement processes, and general administrative-logistical support.
