The role

The Project & IT Budget Analyst assists in planning and leading strategic initiatives while managing IT fiscal year budgets, forecasting, and contract administration. This role supports project managers by coordinating resources, schedules, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Additionally, the analyst monitors IT spending, reconciles accounts, and provides financial guidance to department budget owners to ensure organizational goals are met.

  • Monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenses in collaboration with project managers.
  • Oversee IT departmental budget, including forecasting, accruals, and expense planning.
  • Coordinate contract administration and invoice management for IT financial accuracy.
  • Analyze actual spend against forecast to identify risks, overages, or under-spend.
  • Prepare presentation materials, agendas, and meeting minutes for stakeholders.

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or Data Analysis.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years in project support or budget management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, develop insights, and execute business solutions.
