The role
Girl Effect is seeking a Project Coordinator Consultant to support the effective coordination and implementation of a project aimed at improving the health, wellbeing, and resilience of adolescent girls and young women in Arusha Region, Tanzania.
What you'll do
- Coordinate day-to-day implementation of project activities
- Develop and update implementation workplans
- Monitor implementation against agreed milestones
- Serve as a key coordination focal point with relevant government institutions
- Coordinate closely with implementing and technical partners
- Support adaptive management and timely resolution of implementation challenges
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Project Management, Community Development, Social Sciences, Nursing or a related field
- Minimum four years' relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience working with RHMTs, CHMTs and government systems in Tanzania
- Experience coordinating donor-funded projects
- Strong project planning, coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent written and spoken English and Kiswahili
