The role

The Project and Financial Assistant will support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities, provide administrative and financial support, and assist in the organization of meetings and events.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities
  • Provide administrative support in the preparation of project work plans, budgets, and proposals
  • Support the financial management of projects through budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and preparation of financial reports
  • Create projects in Quantum system; prepare budget revisions; revise project awards; and support the identification of unutilized funds and the operational and financial closure of the project
  • Create invoices and requisitions in the Quantum system for development projects
  • Register good receipts in the Quantum system

  • At least 3 years of professional work experience in human rights development programmes and financial management processes
  • Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, reporting skills
  • Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive
  • Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment
  • Solid overall computer literacy, including proficiency in various MS Office applications
