The role

The Programme Management Officer position is responsible for managing the results-based planning, monitoring and reporting of CFB’s overall programme in Vienna, Austria.

What you'll do

  • Ensure information management and reporting processes support accurate, transparent, and timely high-quality inputs, reports, and documentation.
  • Gather and organize relevant documentation, data, and evidence to support reported activities and outcomes.
  • Maintain or enhance knowledge, structure, and methodology for monitoring, reporting, and evaluation on results and impact.
  • Contribute to the development of CFB’s project-related costed work plans, monitor their implementation, identify problems and issues, and propose corrective actions.
  • Prepare various written outputs such as draft background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies.

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree in public administration, international relations, law, criminology, economics, or a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in project or programme management, including results-based planning, monitoring, evaluation, reporting.
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience preparing, negotiating, and managing agreements with implementing partners.
  • Experience within the United Nations System or in a similar international organization is desirable.
