The role
The Programme Management Officer will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of assigned programmes/projects in the Women, Youth and Vulnerable Communities section within the Division of Sustainable and Inclusive Trade at the International Trade Centre.
What you'll do
- Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of assigned programmes/projects
- Perform consulting assignments by planning facilitating workshops and assisting in developing action plans
- Research, analyze and present information gathered from diverse sources
- Assist in policy development and prepare various written outputs such as background papers and reports
- Provide substantive support to consultative and other meetings, conferences, etc.
- Undertake field missions and draft mission summaries
What it takes
- Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics, international law, international affairs, or a related field
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience in project or programme management, administration or related area
- Experience developing complex partnerships with the private sector is desirable
- Experience working in the area of women’s economic empowerment is desirable
- Experience in developing and/or implementing women and trade projects is desirable
