- Coordinate processing of funding provided through the United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Assistance in Mine Action
- Liaise with international donor community and propose opportunities for donor funding of mine action activities
- Develop, monitor and implement resource mobilization initiatives and plans
- Negotiate contribution agreements for approval and signature by the Director
- Support senior management engagement with donors and represent UNMAS as appropriate in donor meetings and conferences
What it takes
- Advanced university degree (Master’s) in business administration, management, economics, international relations or a related field
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration, or related area
- Two years of experience in resource mobilization and management including reviewing and discussing the terms of agreements with donors
- Experience coordinating with senior level United Nations colleagues and government representatives on complex issues
- Experience drafting and editing documents for structure, grammar and UN editorial protocol with minimal supervision
