What you'll do

  • Coordinates activities related to budget funding and preparation of related documents/reports
  • Conducts risk management in project implementation and identifies and implements solutions and risk mitigation measures
  • Delivers presentations on climate information services and systematic observations

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in area of environmental sciences, or a related field
  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in project/programme management related to environment and/or climate change
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the management and oversight of environmental projects funded by global funds
  • A minimum of two years of experience in supporting environmental and climate information management at country level, preferably with Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs)
  • A minimum of one year of experience in data analytics or related area
  • Fluency in English and French
