The role
The Programme Management Officer will manage the results-based planning, monitoring and reporting of CFB’s overall programme, including the work financed through its regular budget, relationship management with selected key donors to CFB, preparing agreements with implementing partners, overseeing their implementation, and contributing to the implementation of extrabudgetary financed activities.
What you'll do
- Ensure information management and reporting processes support accurate, transparent, and timely high-quality inputs, reports, and documentation.
- Gather and organize relevant documentation, data, and evidence to support reported activities and outcomes.
- Maintain or enhance knowledge, structure, and methodology for monitoring, reporting, and evaluation on results and impact.
- Contribute to the development of CFB’s project related costed work plans, monitor their implementation, identify problems and issues to be addressed, and propose corrective actions.
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in public administration, international relations, law, criminology, economics, or a related discipline is required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in project or programme management, including results-based planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
- At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience preparing, negotiating, and managing agreements with implementing partners.
- Experience developing, enhancing, or managing digital monitoring and reporting applications is desirable.
