The role

Support the conceptualization, organization and execution of online and other events and meetings; assist in drafting, formatting and editing reports, communication materials and other written products; support the creation and maintenance of an online information repository; collect, analyze and visualize quantitative and qualitative information; attend events/meetings/seminars and provide insights on results through meeting notes; conduct research on a wide range of topics and synthesize information; implement activities in support of the Office's efforts to implement gender parity strategies for uniformed personnel.

  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other official languages is desirable
  • Demonstrated interest in the work of the United Nations and ability to interact with individuals from different cultural backgrounds
