The role
The Programme Management Assistant will provide secretarial, administrative and logistics support to activities under the Trust Fund to support the participation of Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in the work of the Human Rights Council.
What you'll do
- Provides secretarial, administrative, and logistics support
- Performs office support functions including UMOJA travel requests
- Organizes meetings and briefings for the LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund
- Updates the LDCs/SIDS Trust Fund webpages in English and French
- Assists in the coordination of programme/project planning and preparation work
- Compiles, summarizes, and presents basic information/data on specific programmes/projects
What it takes
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in programme or project administration, technical cooperation or related area
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as UMOJA is desirable
- Experience organizing meetings and/or travels for virtual and in-person participants is desirable
- Proficiency in English at UN Level III; French proficiency is desirable
