The Programme Finance Analyst position is responsible for resource and budget management, financial oversight, and support to the Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfer (HACT) in UNDP Afghanistan.
What you'll do
- Monitor overall delivery and implementation status of development projects through regular review of financial resources received, disbursed, and expected or already available.
- Ensure the accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness of all REVIVE project financial management activities.
- Lead the full project lifecycle for the REVIVE project in Quantum, from development to successful execution.
- Provide training for programme/portfolio/project personnel on finance issues.
What it takes
- Professional accounting qualification from an internationally accredited institute of accountancy
- Advanced (Master’s) University Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant professional experience
- Experience with web-based management systems such as ERP financials (e.g., Quantum)
