The role
The Programme Coordinator will support the implementation of a project aimed at strengthening the Municipality of Rio de Janeiro’s intersectoral strategy for addressing multidimensional urban poverty.
What you'll do
- Implement the overall work plan in line with project documents and the signed Contribution Agreement
- Develop inception outputs, including a detailed project work plan
- Prepare and review technical documents, consolidating all team inputs into high-quality final deliverables
- Prepare Terms of Reference (ToRs) and detailed scopes of services for project outputs
- Establish and oversee systems for project planning, implementation, and monitoring in collaboration with partners
- Ensure technical quality and compliance with Agency standards and partners’ expectations
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, Architecture and Urbanism, Law, Geography, Economics, or related fields
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in project/programme management on development or urban related themes
- Professional experience on themes related to public policies, slums, data analysis and information, social and urban development, articulation and coordination of stakeholders on implementation of policies and projects in Brazil
- Professional experience on team’s management
- Good computer skills in Windows and Office packages and Web search engines
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies
