The Programme Analyst for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) will manage UNFPA’s health interventions in Timor-Leste to advance the ICPD Programme of Action and the 2030 Agenda. What you'll do
- Provide technical and policy advice on SRHR and GBV response services to the Ministry of Health.
- Manage programme implementation, including budget planning and monitoring in the Quantum system.
- Facilitate partnerships with government, UN agencies, and civil society organizations.
- Develop advocacy materials, briefing documents, and resource mobilization proposals.
- Conduct field missions and monitoring to ensure programme effectiveness and compliance.
What it takes
- Advanced university degree in public health, medicine, nursing, midwifery, or related field.
- Minimum two years of professional experience in SRHR programming or project management.
- Fluency in English and Tetum required; working knowledge of Portuguese is an asset.
- Proven experience in policy advocacy and engaging with government health systems.
- Knowledge of UN/UNFPA programming principles and rights-based approaches.
